How Can I Use My Existing Number With PiPcall?

Whether you are trialling the PiPcall system on behalf on a large organisation, a small business or as a sole trader you can temporarily port your existing business number so that outbound calls from the app display your existing number and inbound calls to your existing number come through the app. This process is made up of two parts outlined below. You can reverse this at any time by emailing support@pipcall.com.

Part 1. Displaying Your Existing Number For Outbound Calls

Step 1

Create your virtual mobile phone management system by clicking the “Try For Free” button

Once your management system has been created click on the “Generate virtual-mobile” button

When you come to choose your number pick “existing”

Step 2

Verify your existing business number

You can do this via SMS or by receiving a confirmation call

You will then be given options to download the App which is available on the App Store and Play Store

Part 2. Forward Calls From My Existing Number To PiPcall

Answer calls to your existing number on PiPcall by setting up call forwarding to your PiPcall number.

Forward calls from an Apple work device to PiPcall:
If you haven’t already, download PiPcall to your personal smartphone, here
Identify your PiPcall number
On your Apple work mobile go to the ‘Settings’ screen, tap Phone, then tap Call Forwarding
Tap the Call Forwarding button to return to the main Call Forwarding screen
All outbound calls made from the PiPcall app will display the PiPcall number

Forward calls from an Android work device to PiPcall:
  • If you haven’t already, download PiPcall to your personal smartphone, here
  • Press the Phone icon
  • Go into ‘Settings’
  • Tap Calls
  • Tap Call forwarding
  • Tap Always forward
  • Type your PiPcall number and tap Turn on
  • All calls made to the Android work device will be forwarded to the PiPcall app on your personal smartphone
  • All outbound calls made from the PiPcall app will display the PiPcall number

Port My Existing Number(s) To PiPcall

Number porting is available to paid accounts. In order to port you existing business number(s) to our system you need to send us the following information:

Email support@pipcall.com the following information
  1. A recent bill – with the number on – screen shot from the portal is fine
  2. The first name, surname and company name, address and postcode where the line is registered

Once we have the information we can start the process of porting your number(s)
