Ever wondered what is behind the hesitation of a business to change or adapt their business phone system, despite it being rigid and restrictive?

An Ofcom report titled ‘SMEs’ Communications Needs’ (download here) interviewed over 1,500 businesses about what technology they used, where they struggled, and what they liked.

One of the requirements of being included in the research survey was to have experienced some degree of dissatisfaction with their communication providers, even if they had not engaged with the market or considered switching.

The most interesting discovery from the report was the reluctance of many SMEs to switch providers or adapt their solution despite not being satisfied with their current telecoms solution.
